Makeup Tips and Tricks #5

If you have thin or spare eyelashes, use an eyeliner to fill in any gaps between the lashes and lightly dust them with powder in between coats of mascara to add volume. If you are prone to smudging mascara on your eyelids, use a drop of foundation on a cotton bud to remove it.

  2. Hi Lili, that's a good question!
Before applying any sort of eye makeup you should always use a eye primer, is a cream that you use to make the eyelid nice and smooth, it turns the eyeshadow application easier and makes the eyeshadows more vibrant specially if you have a darker tone skin like me, and it also makes the eyeshadows last longer.
The best eye primers are Elf and Urban Decay, they both do the same job, you only need to use just a lil bit, spread it with your finger, then you ready for the eyeshadows.
The Elf primer is about £2.00 and you can purchase it from www.eyeslipsface.co.uk
And the Urban Decay is a bit more pricy is about £11.50 from www.beautybay.com
price does not mean better or best, both these products work nicely, they both do the same job I use both on myself and on clients, so take a look at both and decide, the Urban decay is a bigger package, but the price you pay for one you can get about 3 of the elf ones, but it's up to you, they are both amazing. And let me know how you get on when you get your primers.
